About Poppie Productions

Poppie Productions was founded in 2007 by theatre director Elisabeth Andre and Emmy-Award winning filmmaker Craig Tollis as a vehicle for their creative collaboration. We are in continuous development on both feature length and short films and also seek expressions of interest from clients who may wish to use our services for their own projects.

Poppie Productions both creates original work and collaborates with experienced writers, actors and producers. However, we do not accept unsolicited scripts or treatments. Any material received without prior arrangement will be returned or destroyed unopened.
We are also seeking investors and supporters for current and future projects.

Elisabeth Andre

Elisabeth is an accomplished theatre director and founder of Atlanta's acclaimed OffOffPeachtree Theatre. After numerous successful seasons producing and directing contemporary British stage plays, she has branched out into film and video. For her, the essential elements in drama remain the same even as the medium changes: the actor must remain truthful to the character through out the performance. "The role of the film director", she says, "is to see that the actor on the screen is expressing the truth and being spontaneous."
Elisabeth brings her own experience as an actor and voice talent, her sense of humour and feeling for character and performance to every Poppie Productions project.

Craig Tollis
Craig is a four-time Emmy Award winning filmmaker who has worked extensively in long form documentary, cable television series, and independent film. As well as directing, Craig has over a decade of experience and training as an editor which has allowed him to hone his skills as a visual storyteller. He also brings a degree of technical precision to his work, being an avid still photographer, erstwhile audio engineer and composer of music for both television and entertainment.

Craig's most recent Emmy win, in 2009, was for his editing work on Fox Sports South's 2008 College Football Preview Shows. His previous honors including editing, audio and photography awards for documentary and promotional programming.
